Schreiber (sbs) Few is known to me about the Czech singer-songwriter Alen, except that she sings, plays the piano, and writes all music and lyrics herself - which is, basically, the definition of a piano-oriented singer-songwriter. While searching for more details, I already can tell for sure that the songs she writes are of a highly impressive kind - minimalist, tender, and incredibly beautiful all at once. I've found this item in John Simms' gigantic collection. Favorite track: Jestřáb.
